 ANZ Stadium Food Safety Policy
ANZ Stadium is a state-of-the-art facility which hosts a variety of events and functions, including major sporting and entertainment events. Full catering services are available for both event and non-event day functions.
Stadium Management acknowledges:
- The responsibility to provide safe food and beverage to our customers and staff.
- The responsibility to comply with the Australian Food Standards Code and all relevant state legislation and regulations, codes of practice and standards.
To assist in ensuring the safety and quality of our food and beverage, ANZ Stadium complies with the principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), including food safety and good manufacturing practices.
ANZ Stadium is dedicated to the principle of continual improvement. To support this philosophy, we have developed and implemented a Food Safety Management System, which is regularly reviewed and updated. This system complies with, and is third party certified to, the requirements of the Australian/International Standard:
AS ISO 22000:2005
The Stadium welcomes and monitors customer feedback as a means to facilitate continual improvement and identify customer needs and expectations.
The Food Safety Management System provides the basis for working in a systematic manner through formalised procedures and processes governed by HACCP Plans and designed to ensure food safety at all times. A Food Safety Team has been delegated and authorised with the responsibility of ensuring the integrity of our Food Safety Management System.
All staff will be appropriately trained and informed of relevant food safety information.
Business objectives which are established, monitored and reviewed support these principles of food safety. Similarly, measurable food safety objectives are established and monitored.
We will communicate relevant food safety information to those working in the provision of food and beverage and inform customers of important nutritional and allergen information.
The Managing Director and senior management fully endorse this Policy and the formal Food Safety Management System that has been implemented.
