KFC T20 INTL - Australia v Sri Lanka
Saturday 26 January 2013

The Australia v Sri Lanka KFC T20 INTL at ANZ Stadium is shaping as one of the most anticipated sporting events of the summer.

To celebrate Sydney's first-ever Australia Day T20 International, families will have the chance to take part in The Great Australia Day Cricket Carnival at Sydney Olympic Park before the T20 action kicks off at ANZ Stadium.

Commencing at 3pm in Cathy Freeman Park, families can join in on all the colour and excitement of a BBQ, music, live entertainment, food stalls, cricket nets, face painting, balloon artists, uni cyclists, giant Jenga, giant Connect 4 and a Milo kids’ zone.

The kids (and big kids) can also put their cricket skills to the test in the world’s biggest backyard cricket game before Australian master blaster Dave Warner leads a galaxy of T20 stars onto the ANZ Stadium pitch.

Adding to the excitement of the event, the world famous Joel and Benjamin Madden will also get the crowd rocking with live performances when the match gets underway.

The world’s most exciting T20 batsman Dave Warner will headline a galaxy of T20 master blasters as the Aussies try to stop one of the world’s best short-form teams stealing their thunder on our national day.

With a capacity of 80,000 plus, and its famous short boundaries, ANZ Stadium is the perfect setting for a T20 international that promises to be one of the highlights in a summer of cricket.
