ANZ Stadium will host the all-important Game II of the 2014 State of Origin series on Wednesday 18 June.

The NSW Blues look to make the most of their solitary home game in Sydney as they attempt to end Queensland’s record eight-year Origin stranglehold.

They will have to do it the hard way with two games being played at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium – Game I on Wednesday 18 may and Game III on Wednesday 9 July.

Game II in Sydney is do or die – it will either decide the series or is a must-win game for the team looking to keep the series alive.

Every Blues supporter needs to get out to ANZ Stadium on 18 June and help keep the Origin shield in NSW for the first time in nine years.

Tickets for Game II in Sydney go on sale to NRL Club Ticketed Members from Thursday 5 December - Sunday 8 December; Non-ticketed Members on Monday 9 December; and the general public from Tuesday 17 December.

The State of Origin announcement springboards the release of the 2014 NRL draw on Wednesday as fans countdown to next year’s season.

With record-breaking crowds at ANZ Stadium in 2013, there will be more Sydney v Sydney blockbusters than ever before in 2014 as the Stadium’s five home teams gear up for one of the most anticipated seasons in years.

ANZ Stadium is expected to host at least 16 Sydney v Sydney blockbusters involving home clubs with reciprocal Membership rights to Members of both competing clubs.
