- Fans are encouraged to get out to the precinct early and enjoy the festivities;
- The Sydney Olympic Park precinct will be pumping with NRL and AFL Finals fever on Saturday night, with the GWS Giants hosting West Coast Eagles in an AFL Semi-Final at neighbouring Spotless Stadium.
TRAINS, BUSES AND FOOTY BLOCKBUSTERS AT SYDNEY OLYMPIC PARK
IN a win for NRL fans, all tickets to the Parramatta Eels v North Queensland Cowboys must-win semi-final at ANZ Stadium on Saturday 16 September will include return travel on Major Event Buses and Sydney Trains.
The Sydney Olympic Park precinct will be pumping with NRL and AFL Finals fever on Saturday night, with the GWS Giants hosting West Coast Eagles in an AFL Semi-Final at neighbouring Spotless Stadium from 7.25pm.
Fans heading to ANZ Stadium for the NRL blockbuster are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the additional and direct public transport services operating for the event, arrive early and enjoy the pre-game activities, including team warm-ups from 7pm.
Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will start running between 3.20pm and 4pm, depending on the route. Routes 5A, 5B and 8 through the North Western suburbs will run every 6 minutes, services on remaining routes will run approximately every 12 to 15 minutes.
Express trains will run from Blacktown every 12 to 15 minutes from 5.12pm until 9pm, stopping at Seven Hills, Westmead, Parramatta, Granville, Lidcombe then Olympic Park. Express trains will also run from Central every 15 minutes from 5.20pm until 9pm, stopping at Redfern, Strathfield then Olympic Park.
Gates at ANZ Stadium will open at 4.45pm with a Holden Cup game before the NRL kick-off at 7.40pm.
The winning game plan for all fans is to leave plenty of time to get out to the Sydney Olympic precinct early, enjoy the festivities including international-themed food stalls from 4pm, and allow additional time when entering the Stadium for the security screening process.
Ticketed Members prices start from $50 for families and $20 for Adults. General Public tickets start from $65 for families and $25 for Adults.
