• Kezie Apps

Kezie Apps is a NSW and Australian rugby league player who was named 2016 Dally M Women’s Medallist in 2016.

Born and bred in Bega, on the NSW South Coast, Kezie played her junior rugby league for the Bega Roosters alongside current Melbourne Storm player Dale Finucane. At age 12, she was forced to stop playing due to age restrictions that were in place for women at that time.

However, Kezie never gave up on her dream of becoming an elite women’s rugby league player.

In October 2017, she was named in Australia's 2017 Women's Rugby League World Cup squad.[5] On 2 December, she started at second row in the Jillaroos’ 23-16 final win over New Zealand.

In June 2018, Kezie, along with Sam Bremner and Talesha Quinn, were named as the three marquee players for the St. George Illawarra Dragons team to play in the inaugural NRL Women’s Premiership.

“Rugby league and sport generally have been such a big part of my life so I’m thrilled to be an ANZ Stadium Ambassador,” Kezie said.

“I enjoy working with the Stadium team in the community and on charitable projects, and I also have no trouble talking about sport with Members at ANZ Stadium whenever I get the chance.”
