UP TO 100,000 TO WITNESS TWO EPIC NRL PRELIMINARY FINALS

IT ALL comes down to four teams and two epic NRL Preliminary Finals on one jam-packed weekend at ANZ Stadium as the South Sydney Rabbitohs face the Sydney Roosters on Friday night followed by the Penrith Panthers taking on the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on Saturday.
Excited fans rushed for tickets on Monday with up to 100,000 people expected to be part of one of the biggest sporting weekends in Australia.

Pre-game activities – including live entertainment and pop-up eateries – will begin later on in the afternoon outside the Stadium.
In a bonus for footy fans, there’ll be live party sites in Sydney Olympic Park before both matches, with the Swans v Hawks AFL Grand Final to be shown on the big screens from 1pm on Saturday.
The Rabbitohs are shooting for their first Grand Final appearance since 1971 but face an impressive Roosters team determined to win back-to-back premierships. The Cinderella story of this season, the Panthers, take on the surprise packet of the Finals, the Bulldogs. The mountain men are determined to continue their fairytale season but the crafty Bulldogs are motivated to return to their second Grand Final in the last three years. With large crowds expected, fans are encouraged to plan their journey in advance and take advantage of return public transport to Sydney Olympic Park included in all tickets. Public transport includes Sydney Train services, Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses, regular Sydney Buses (STA) services and Sydney Ferries services.
Those choosing to drive are strongly advised to pre-book parking, arrive early and make the most of the entertainment and activities on offer pre-match.
If you do decide to drive, the below routes are advised and can help minimise traffic issues:
- From the NORTH: Through Top Ryde, take Victoria Rd and then Silverwater Rd and Holker Street to Sydney Olympic Park;
- From the SOUTH: Turn onto Parramatta Road then Hill Road to Sydney Olympic Park;
- From the EAST: Take Parramatta Road then Birnie Avenue or Hill Road. If you are driving along Victoria Road, consider taking Silverwater Road then Holker Street.
- From the WEST: Turn onto Silverwater Road then Holker Street or turn onto Hill Road, and then to Sydney Olympic Park.
