Arsenal – fresh from winning the FA Cup in May – will arrive in Sydney on the morning of Tuesday 11 July for the twin blockbusters and a week of fan engagement.

Legendary Manager Arsene Wenger and his players will bring the FA Cup to Sydney and will have it displayed at ANZ Stadium on the night of the two matches.

Arsenal fans travelling from far and wide to take up residence in the northern stands of ANZ Stadium which will be renamed the North Bank and replicate the match-day experience at the Gunners’ home base Emirates Stadium in London

A-League Champions Sydney FC and the Western Sydney Wanderers are confident they will do their fans proud, with large active fan areas all but sold out for both games in the southern stands of ANZ Stadium which will be renamed the Clock End as it is at the Emirates.

Good seats are still available for both matches across most categories and starting from as low as $39. Family tickets (2 adults 2 children) are priced from $99.

Midfield ace Mesut Ozil has spoken of his excitement about travelling to Sydney. You can see the full interview at Arsenal.com here.

The World Cup winner has played around the world in the course of a stellar career, but has never been Down Under – and can’t wait to make the trip.

“I hear Sydney is a nice city with a lot of nice people living there,” he told Arsenal Player. “I don’t know a lot about Australia but this is a good opportunity to see the city, the people and I’m really happy to go there with Arsenal.

“It is really good to have pre-season with the team, in my career it has always been like that. If you play at a big tournament, especially with Germany, you really miss pre-season.

“Two years ago we went to Singapore and it was a nice experience to see the city and the fans, and to train how we do in Sydney. So I am excited to do the same in Australia. I can’t wait to go there.”
