IT'S been 25 long years since the Canberra Raiders raised the Provan-Summons Trophy, and only 12 months for the Sydney Roosters who are hoping to be the first club in 26 years to secure back-to-back titles . . . either way we're set for a historic Grand Final at ANZ Stadium this Sunday!
The Sydney Olympic Park precinct will come alive from 12pm with a host of family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy before gates open.
Grand Final Day will start inside the Stadium with the 2019 Intrust Super State Championship Grand Final between the Newtown Jets and Burleigh Bears, followed by the NRL Holden Women's Premiership Grand Final between the St.George-Illawarra Dragons and Brisbane Broncos.
World-renowned OneRepublic will headline the pre-match entertainment kicking off from 6.30pm, before Roosters v Raiders take centre stage.
With a huge day and a cracking atmosphere on the way, here is everything you need to know to make sure you have an unforgettable night.
WHAT TIME DOES IT START?
- 12:00pm: Precinct celebrations begin in Sydney Olympic Park;
- 1:15pm: Gates Open;
- 1:35pm: Kick Off: Intrust Super State Championship Grand Final;
- 4:05pm: Kick Off: NRL Holden Women's Premiership Grand Final 2019;
- 6:30pm: Entertainment featuring OneRepublic, commences inside ANZ Stadium;
- 7:20pm: 2019 NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final Sydney: Sydney Roosters v Canberra Raiders.
PRE-GRAND FINAL CELEBRATIONS
From 12pm on Sunday fans are invited to Sydney Olympic Park for a celebration of food, drink, entertainment and all things rugby league.
Fans can hit the entertainment area in Cathy Freeman Park with the brand new Locker Room Hotel, joining with the ever-popular Brewery & outdoor extension bar, live entertainment and a host of activity spaces for the whole family.
Hungry? An abundance of food trucks and pop-up stalls will be operating outside ANZ Stadium. Plus, more than 20 cafes, bars and restaurants will be open both before AND after the game in Sydney Olympic Park which will have you covered for a feed any time of day. Check the full list here.
HOW CAN I GET TO THE GAME?
Fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a full day of activities and beat the late afternoon rush ahead of the game.
Where possible, leave the car at home and take advantage of the return travel on ALL public transport (trains, buses, ferries & light rail) included in your tickets to the game.
Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses are running for the game and will begin between 12:00pm and 12:50pm, depending on the route.
Additional direct train services will be running regularly to Olympic Park Station from Central and Penrith from 1pm.
Your best plan is to leave the car at home, but if you must drive it is vital you pre-book your parking here.

SAFETY AND SECURITY AT ANZ STADIUM
Public safety is our No.1 priority at ANZ Stadium.
The Stadium works closely with NSW Police and other authorities to ensure everyone's safety at all events.
A high NSW Police and Security presence will be in place for the NRL Grand Final, both inside ANZ Stadium and throughout the Sydney Olympic Park precinct before, during and after the event.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and leave additional time for the security screening process when entering the Stadium. This process will include mandatory bag searches and personal checks.
Only small bags (no larger than 30cm x 40cm) are permitted into ANZ Stadium for events, and all bags will be checked by security. Fans should arrive without bags if possible.
